Russian Woman and Daughters Found Living in Indian Cave

Indian police in Gokarna, Karnataka, discovered a 40-year-old Russian woman, Nina Kutina, and her two young daughters, aged 4 and 6, living in a cave. The discovery was made during a patrol in a landslide-prone forest area. Ms. Kutina had been using the cave as a retreat for about a week, practicing yoga and meditation. Police found the cave entrance concealed with sari curtains and decorated with images of Hindu deities. Despite concerns about the location's safety, Ms. Kutina expressed a desire to remain in the forest for worship. Authorities eventually relocated the family to a women's shelter, from where Ms. Kutina contacted her relatives.
