Indian Man Arrested for Running Fake Embassy

An Indian man, Harshvardhan Jain, also known as "Baron H.V. Jain," has been arrested for operating a fake embassy in Ghaziabad, a city near New Delhi. Police allege that Jain used a rented bungalow, decorated with flags and luxury cars, to represent several "micronations" – self-proclaimed states without international recognition. For nearly a decade, this operation reportedly facilitated criminal activities, including fraud for overseas employment and an illegal money transfer network. Jain had declared himself a representative of Westarctica in 2017, and the micronation stated he was an authorized representative who engaged in unauthorized activities after making a donation.
